Richard has always been entrepreneurial starting early with paper routes, creating and running snow shoveling and grass cutting crews, selling greeting cards, magazine subscriptions, car waxing, bicycle repair, etc.
He started his first full time business at the age of 22 and has been in the “Main Street” small business arena as Business Owner, Seller, Consultant and Business Broker ever since. You will find he can easily relate to you and your business due to his 45 plus years in the small business arenas. He has the ability to quickly grasp and analyze business models and conditions and is personally involved in every project and listing at AEGIS.
He has been an avid volunteer serving as an SBA/SCORE Certified Mentor, Co-Mentor for special cases for the Arkansas Small Business Technology Development Center (SBTDC) and volunteer mentor for BNI Members. He also serves on Northwest Arkansas Chambers of Commerce on various committees and volunteered as a court ordered Mediator for small claims courts specializing in small business disputes.
Richard has extensive Business Brokerage training & experience from two national business broker franchises that he worked for. He continues to receive ongoing training from the ABBA American Business Brokers Association where he received an ABI Accredited Business Intermediary rating and the IBBA International Business Brokers where he is an active member.
He has built a large network of Business Brokers, Commercial Lenders, SBA Lenders, Business Buyers and Business Sellers and Business Professionals over the years.
Richard's home town is Chicago which he left in 2010 to move to Fayetteville Arkansas. His mother was born in Biscoe, Arkansas and he has family scattered throughout Pope County.
Christopher Beam is an Arkansas native and began his career in hotel management with The Procaccianti Group in their Intercontinental Hotel Group division.
He has held roles in almost every area of the Hospitality and Lodging industry including Area management, General Management, Accounting, Quality Assurance, Food & Beverage, and Restaurant Management.
Christopher has received extensive training in the area of small business sales and ownership transitions. He has achieved the ABBA certification as an Accredited Business Intermediary (ABI).
He is committed to serving his clients in the best possible way and works directly with the Senior Managing Broker at AEGIS Business Brokers, LLC on all of his projects and listings.
His long term goal is to use his experience assisting the ownership transitions of Main Street Businesses and an MBA to launch a Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) division at AEGIS Business Brokers, LLC.

Glenna Akin joined the AEGIS Business Advisor Team in June of 2017. She has added a dimension to our team that includes experience in restaurant management, medical clinics.
She also has over 25 years of experience at direct sales including 20 years in manufacturing. She has most recently completed an Associate’s Degree in Paralegal studies.
Having lived in the NW Arkansas area she has witnessed its phenomenal growth and looks forward helping others achieve their dreams of having a successful business of their own.
Glenna is a Fayetteville native, married with three children.
Her love of learning and helping others has been the motivation for her life.
Bill Fox joined the ASBTDC at the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville, Sam M. Walton College of Business in May 2007. After eight years as a business consultant, he became the center director in July 2015.
Bill works with current and prospective Northwest Arkansas business owners on financing options, market research, business planning, marketing, and financial management.
He is a former small business owner and has lending experience as a banker/loan officer with Bank of America. Fox has also worked in higher education as director of a student enterprise program at the University of Pennsylvania, as coordinator for a Disability Services program at Broward (Fla.) Community College and as a job developer for Florida Atlantic University. A Certified Business Advisor®, he earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Florida Atlantic University and an MBA from West Virginia University.
